YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | C.J. Wilson and Marcellus Roberts combined to score 46 points as Young Harris downed the University of North Georgia men's basketball team, 96-86, on Wednesday evening in YHC's Basketball Arena.
The Nighthawks placed five players in double figures led by 19 from
T.J. Williams.
Juan Rivas added his eighth double-double of the season with 12 points and a team-high 10 rebounds.
Sean Brennan pitched in with an 18 point, seven rebound and seven assist night for UNG.
Michael Varrichione rounded out North Georgia's double figure scores with 12 points.
The loss drops North Georgia to 4-18 overall and 2-11 in conference play, while Young Harris improves to 12-10 and 10-3 in the league.
NOTES- The season sweep gives Young Harris a full point in the Battle of Blood Mountain.
- The loss extends the Nighthawks' losing streak to 10 games.
- Varrichione's 12 points marked a new season high for the senior forward.
- YHC's Roberts led all scorers with 25 points on 12-of-19 from the floor, while Wilson finished with 21.
