DAHLONEGA, Ga. – The University of North Georgia men's and women's basketball teams will host their annual Lumpkin County Parks and Recreation Night on Friday, Dec. 16 in conjunction with the teams' games Augusta University. The women's game will tip off the Peach Belt Conference doubleheader beginning at 6:00 p.m. in UNG's Memorial Hall.
Players and coaches from all 26 LCPR youth basketball teams will be admitted free. Accompanying adults will be charged regular admission of $6.
All LCPR players will receive a free UNG basketball schedule poster with access to Nighthawk player autographs.
Nigel the Nighthawk will be on hand to take team photo with all the youth teams as they are recognized at halftime of each game. The nine girls teams will be honored during the women's game, while the 17 boys teams will be recognized during the men's contest.
Additionally the Little Hoopers program will perform dribbling drills during halftime of the women's game.
The games will simulcast on the Nighthawk Sports Network with pregame coverage starting at 5:50 p.m. Fans can watch at UNGAthletics.com or listen locally on Glory 1330 AM WGTJ of Gainesville.

- Final game times for the Peach Belt doubleheader scheduled for Monday, Dec. 19 against Lander have been set for 5:30 p.m. (women) and 7:30 p.m. (men) in UNG's Memorial Hall.
