DAHLONEGA | The University of North Georgia women's basketball team scored the game's first 13 points and never looked back en route to a 72-55 Peach Belt Conference win over Montevallo on Saturday afternoon in UNG's Memorial Hall.
Stephanie Huffman led all scorers with a game-high 23 points as the Nighthawks grab their seventh consecutive win to move to 19-4 overall and 11-3 in league play.
Cierra Jackson added 11 points, fueled by 3-of-6 from behind the 3-point line while
Jordan Livesay added nine.
Samantha Glodis came off the bench to match her career-high with eight points and
Kelsey Hutchins pitched in with eight points and seven rebounds.
Huffman also posted game-high rebounding honors with nine, missing her 24
th career double-double by just a single snare.
Katherine Goldsby scored a career high 20 points for the Falcons (1-20, 0-14).
The Nighthawks led by as many as 25 (66-41) with 9:39 remaining in the second half.
North Georgia returns to action on Wednesday (Feb. 11) with a road trip to Georgia Southwestern.
