DAHLONEGA | The No. 12 University of North Georgia softball team has added four home games to its schedule this weekend, head coach
Mike Davenport announced on Thursday. The schedule additions – a pair of games on both Friday and Saturday – come after the cancelation of the Mid-South Classic in Spartanburg, S.C., which was set to take place this Friday-Sunday.
UNG will play host to Tiffin in a doubleheader on Friday. The games will be the first of the season for the Dragons, which finished a game above .500 last season. The Friday twin bill is set to begin at 1 p.m.
Saturday will feature a total of four games at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium with North Georgia playing in the first two. The Nighthawks will face Brevard and Pfeiffer at 11 a.m., and 1 p.m., respectively. After which both teams will play Tiffin once each.
The Tornados enter the weekend with a 6-4 record, however, Brevard has won their last four games. The Falcons are 7-6 on the year but have not seen the field for nearly two weeks.
Following this weekend's games, North Georgia will travel to Young Harris on Weds., March 4 to open up conference play in the Battle of Blood Mountain match up.
