YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Trailing by seven points with under two and a half minutes left in the game, the University of North Georgia men's basketball team stormed from behind and used a
Sean Brennan buzzer beater to take down rival Young Harris (5-5, 2-2 Peach Belt), 84-82, Monday evening. The improbable comeback extends the men's winning streak to seven games and overall record to 10-1 with a 4-0 mark in PBC play.

Sophomore guard
Sean Brennan collected his first double-double of the season with 18 points and 11 rebounds, both of which led the team on the night.
Â
The game featured multiple long runs by each team and saw three lead changes in each half.
Â
Just as the Mountain Lions appeared to take control of the game with a seven-point lead on a Herdie Lawrence three-pointer,
Sean Brennan drew a foul and made two free throws and the Nighthawks collected a steal on the next possession. On the other side of the court Sam Ebo drained a three to pull UNG within two and just seconds later collected a steal and made a pair of free throws after being fouled to tie the game, 80-80.
Â
North Georgia found themselves with the ball and an opportunity to take the last shot with the game tied, 82-82.
Shaquan Cantrell launched a three with five seconds left. After deflecting off the iron, Brennan collected the rebound and got off a last second heave with the ball finding its way through the net as time expired.
Â
The Nighthawks will look to continue their winning ways on Wednesday, as the team travels to Augusta to take on Georgia Regents. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
