MORROW, Ga. | The University of North Georgia women's basketball team never found a rhythm and could not overcome a late first half run that handed Clayton State (10-5, 4-2 Peach Belt) a double-digit lead heading into the half as the Lakers took the game, 91-73. The Nighthawks slip to 12-3 and 4-2 in conference action following the loss.
Despite shooting just 25 percent from the field and struggling on the defensive glass in the first half, UNG still fought to keep the game close with the game being tied, 32-32, with just 4:16 left in the first half.
