Carrion netted the eventual game-winner in the match's 12th minute when the sophomore blasted home a shot in the top right corner after receiving the feed in the box from
Manuel Hernandez.
North Georgia outshot UM 19-10 including 13-6 in the second half. The Nighthawks also held a decisive advantage in corner kicks, 8-3.
The victory snaps a six-match winless streak for North Georgia. The Nighthawks return to action on Saturday (Oct. 11) at Georgia Southwestern, with kickoff set for 3:30 p.m., in Americus, Ga.
