DAHLONEGA, Ga. — The No. 13 University of North Georgia men's tennis team's rally in singles came up just short as the Nighthawks dropped a tight Peach Belt Conference decision to No. 5 Lander on Tuesday afternoon at the UNG Tennis Complex at Yahoola Creek Park.
For the first time this season, the Nighthawks dropped all three doubles lines and entered the six singles matches down 3-0.

Andre Canino evened the match at three apiece, but the Bearcats rebounded to secure their 11
th win of the season with victories in the third and sixth lines.
Lander improves to 11-2 overall and remain unbeaten in league play at 5-0. North Georgia falls to 14-2 and 5-2 in conference matches.
The Nighthawks return to action on short rest with a home match with Augusta tomorrow (Mar. 29) at noon.
