Craig Corbin

Veteran sportscaster Craig Corbin is entering his 12th season as the Voice of University of North Georgia Nighthawk Athletics. Corbin calls the play-by-play action for all men's and women's basketball games on the Nighthawk Sports Network. 

Previously he served as the play-by-play voice of Kennesaw State Athletics for eight seasons, and hosted the Fighting Owls Basketball Highlight Show, “Courtside with Tony Ingle,” seen regionally across the Southeast on CSS.

Prior to his association with Kennesaw State, Corbin served as the voice of UNC Asheville athletics for eight seasons. In addition he has served as host of SKYBOX on AIB-TV for the past five years. With more than 1,300 radio and television play-by-play broadcasts to his credit, Corbin has been behind the microphone since his days in Chapel Hill calling games for the University of North Carolina women’s basketball team. Craig also handled play-by-play duties on the Carolina’s Conference TV Game of the Week from 1986 to 1989, and for the Asheville Smokies American Major Basketball League team during 1995 & 1996.

An avid runner, Corbin has competed in numerous marathons as well as the Peachtree Road Race for 42 consecutive years. He served as a National Anthem Soloist during the 1987 U.S. Olympic Festival, and for the Durham Bulls, Greensboro Hornets/Bats, Martinsville Phillies & Asheville Tourists minor league baseball teams.

The Franklin, N.C. native is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism & Mass Communication. Craig and his wife Suzanne have two sons and reside in Cumming.
