How Blackwell got to UNG
Rohan Blackwell joins the Nighthawks in 2025 as a junior transfer from Air Force Academy. Despite not playing in a match for the Falcons over the last two seasons, the Atlanta, Ga. brings an impressive pedigree back to his home state having already made his MLS Next Pro debut with Atlanta United. Blackwell has also shown outstanding leadership off the field in the world of soccer. During his high school career he was awarded the Most Dedicated Volunteer twice with TOPSoccer, a community-based training program for young athletes with disabilities. After a massive earthquake hit Blackwell's mother's home country of Nepal, he and his family started a funding drive and distributed necessities to those affected by the earthquake. Blackwell returned to Nepal in 2020 and partnered with a local school to develop and run a free soccer camp for kids with disabilities low socio-economic backgrounds.
