Parkview High School: Shane was named her team's Most Valuable Runner in 2009 and earned three varsity letters in cross country ... She set a personal best of 20:21 in the 5K during her career ... Her team claimed the region crown three-straight years (2008-10) finishing third in the state meet in 2008 ... Away from athletics, she was an active member of FCA.

Personal: Erica Kaitlin Shane is the daughter of Richard and Debi Shane ... She is majoring in Special Education.
