Marcy Huck

Marcy Huck is entering her sixth year as the lead assistant for the University of North Georgia men’s and women’s tennis programs.

Huck was named the ITA Southeast Region Women's Tennis Assistant Coach of the Year in 2019 after the women advanced to the national tournament final site for a second consecutive year, advancing to the Elite Eight for the first time in program history. She also assisted Vaishali Jorge to an ITA Cup appearance after winning the ITA Regional Tournament in singles play, finishing third in the ITA Cup.

In Marcy’s first year, she assisted the women’s No. 1 doubles team winning the ITA Regional Tournament and placing fifth at nationals in 2017. She assisted the women's team to the 2018 NCAA Southeast Regional Tournament for a second consecutive year, winning the regional tournament and advancing to the Sweet 16 at nationals for the first time in program history. 

Before coming to Georgia, Marcy served a two-year stint as the graduate assistant tennis coach at Olivet Nazarene. While there, Huck was named the 2017 NAIA Women's Assistant Coach of the Year for the East Region.

She has also served as a tennis club professional at the Libertyville Club in 2017, the Empowered Sports Club from 2013-15 and the Anderson Sports Center from 2007-13.

Marcy is a USPTA Certified Tennis Professional after receiving her USPTA certification in 2018.
 
As a player at IPFW, Huck helped lead the Mastodons to the Summit League Championship in 2013 and runner-up finishes in 2012 and 2014. She earned the team’s Coach’s Award and Highest Team GPA Award in following her senior year in 2015.

Huck received her Organizational Leadership and Supervision degree from Indiana University – Purdue University Fort Wayne in 2015 and her Master of Organizational Leadership from ONU in 2017.
