Kelly Cameron is entering her second season as the graduate assistant coach for the University of North Georgia men’s and women’s tennis teams. She comes to Dahlonega on the heels of a four-year playing career at NCAA Division I UNC Wilmington.
In her senior campaign, Cameron served as co-captain and helped lead her team to the 2014 Colonial Athletic Conference Championship and the school’s first-ever NCAA tournament bid. She posted a team-best 13-1 record at third doubles and capped the year by being awarded the Pat Howey, Jr. Outstanding Student-Athlete Leadership Award.
Last season she was also named an Intercollegiate Tennis Association Scholar-Athlete.
Cameron was a four-time All-CAA selection and carried a 52-21 career singles record for the Seahawks.
She earned her Bachelors of Arts in Physical Education from UNCW.
