High School: Brackett earned four letters in golf as well as two in baseball ... the 2011 Cherokee County Golfer-of-the-Year, he won the Region 5A golf tournament  as a senior in 2011 ... was named to the Cherokee County All-County Golf Team two other times (2009, 2010) ... in 2008, his team advanced all the way to the state tournament ... was also strong in the classroom as he graduated with honors.
