2012-13 (Junior): As a junior, started 26 of 28 games for the Nighthawks … Averaged a team-best 15.4 points per game on 45.9% shooting … 8th in the PBC in rebounds while averaging 7.3 per contest … Shot 40.1% from beyond the three point line which ranked 8th in the league … Scored a career-high 28 points in a win against Newberry, finishing 10-20 from the field and 6-11 from three … Best performance came in a 24 point, 14 rebound and 6 assist performance against Francis Marion … Recorded four double-doubles on the season … Selected as a Peach Belt Conference 2nd team All-Conference performer … Named to the 1st team Georgia Basketball Coaches Association (GABCA) NCAA Division II All-State.

Western Carolina University: Hollis spent the last two seasons at Southern Conference institution Western Carolina University where he played in 39 games for the Catamounts while averaging 2.7 points and 1.7 rebounds per game. 

Flowery Branch High School: Hollis was a four-year letterwinner on the varsity basketball squad ... During his senior year, he averaged 20 points and 10 rebounds per game en route to earning Region Player-of-the-Year honors as well as being named to the All-Region 7 team ... He averaged 17 points, seven rebounds and 1.5 blocks through his four seasons and helped guide the team to the state regional finals as a junior ... He set the school record for most blocks in a single-season his sophomore year and ended his time as the school’s all-time leader in blocked shots ... He also earned All-Area, All-State and All-American honors during his prep career.
