4:30 p.m. – Packet pick up opens
5:30 p.m. – National Anthem
5:35 p.m. – Men report to start line
5:45 p.m. – Men’s 8K race
6:20 p.m. – Women report to start line
6:30 p.m. – Women’s 5K race
Course Information: This meet will be run on the
University of North Georgia Cross Country Course, which is home to the Peach Belt Conference Championships (2015, 2020, 2023 & 2024) and the NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Cross Country Southeast Regionals (2018, 2020 & 2023). The course is generally set up as a large and open spectator-friendly one-mile loop. The course is all grass and dirt and is considered “flat and fast" and features a stadium-style finish and the adjacent G.W. Bailey Amphitheater for awards.
Entry Fee: $150 per team, women and men are separate teams. Total for any school is $300. Please make checks payable to UNG Women’s Cross Country Foundation. Payment may also be made online through Direct Athletics. All entries should be completed online through Direct Athletics at DirectAthletics.com. Registration closes on Tuesday, September 9 at 5:00 p.m. There are no “unattached” competitors - all runners must be part of a competing team.
Team Parking Area: Teams will have assigned parking in Lot V (adjacent to Public Safety building). Signage will be in place to direct vans and buses to the appropriate lot.
Packet Pickup/Bibs: Team packets with race numbers, timing information and starting box assignments will be distributed in the G.W. Bailey Amphitheater beginning at 4:30 p.m. If bibs of teams entered runners who do not compete are not turned in to the timer prior to starting, then those runners are considered DNF. Entered competitors must be declared DNS prior to the race starting to prevent entered runners from starting then pulling out of the race.
Restrooms & Team Tents: Portable restrooms for both participants and spectators will be available on Nighthawks Way (below parking deck). Team tents will be set up in the designated team tent areas only.
Timing & Results: The races will be timed by Runners Fit Raceworks. Meet results will be loaded to TFRRS immediately following both races. All times, places and team finished will be distributed digitally.
Awards: The winning team and individual for both genders will receive plaques.
