Cam Hodge has been named Peach Belt Conference Freshman of the Week after a standout performance at the plate last week.
Hodge hit .385 for the week with a .615 slugging percentage and a .529 on-base percentage. He recorded five hits, drove in eight runs and scored twice, highlighted by a grand slam in North Georgia's 12-1 victory over Flagler on Sunday. He also added a stolen base.
On the season, Hodge leads the PBC with 43 RBI and is tied for second in home runs (7).
No. 11 North Georgia returns to action March 24, hosting Emmanuel at Bob Stein Stadium.
