DAHLONEGA – University of North Georgia (UNG) pitcher Andrew Duval has been named Peach Belt Conference Pitcher of the Week after a strong outing on the mound for the Nighthawks.

Duval tossed a seven-inning complete game in North Georgia's 12-1 victory over Flager on Sunday, allowing just one run on three hits. He struck out six and issued one walk while holding the Saints to a .125 batting average.

On the season, Duval is tied for the lead in the PBC in wins (6). He ranks fifth in strikeouts (44), sixth in earned run average (3.37) and fewest runs allowed (20) and eighth in opponent batting average (.248).

No. 11 North Georgia returns to action March 24, hosting Emmanuel at Bob Stein Stadium.
