DAHLONEGA – The University of North Georgia (UNG) baseball team has unveiled its schedule for the 2026 season, highlighted by a challenging non-conference slate, a full Peach Belt Conference schedule and the debut season of head coach Nolan Belcher.

The Nighthawks are coming off a 41-17 campaign in 2025, including a 23-4 mark in conference play, as they won the Peach Belt regular-season championship, reached the quarterfinals of the PBC Tournament and advanced to the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional.

UNG opens the 2026 season on the road with a three-game series at Embry-Riddle Jan. 30 through Feb. 1 in Daytona Beach, Fla.. The home opener is set for Tuesday, Feb. 3, against Young Harris at Bob Stein Stadium at Lynn Cottrell Park.

Conference play begins Feb. 13-15 with a road series at GCSU in Milledgeville. The Nighthawks then return for their first PBC home series of the season, hosting Lander Feb. 20-22.

The Peach Belt Conference Tournament is slated to begin May 1-3 and conclude May 7-8. The top eight teams qualify, with seeds No. 1, 4, 5 and 8 competing at the site of the top seed, and seeds No. 2, 3, 6 and 7 at the site of the second seed.
