MOBILE, Ala. – Two athletes on the University of North Georgia (UNG) women's track & field team earned a total of three top-5 finishes at the South Alabama Invitational in Mobile, Ala. on Saturday.
Seniors
Ella Stoudenmire and
Anna Chasteen each landed in the top five in the two-day invitational.
Stoudenmire earned a podium finish in the 1500-meter race as she came in third place with a time of 4:57.79. She also finished in fifth in the 800m with a 2:29.84 pace.
In the 3000m competition, Chasteen broke through for a fifth-place finish as well. She sped around the track to the tune of a 10:56.33 final time.
Now the Nighthawks look forward to the Yellow Jacket Invitational hosted by Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Ga. on March 21-22.
