AUGUSTA, Ga. - The Peach Belt Conference has selected University of North Georgia golfers Hunter Smith and Ellie Jane Riner with their respective Player of the Week honors as announced on Monday afternoon by the conference office.

Smith shot rounds of 72-72-68 to finish three-under par at the Copperhead Championship. His final round 68 (-3) vaulted him up 17 places to close the tournament in a tie for fifth place.

Riner led the Nighthawks to a fourth place finish at the 12^th Annual LeeAnn Noble Memorial with a team-best 73-70-71 (-2) which was good for ninth place overall individually. She poured in 15 birdies which was tied for second-most in the entire field.

The weekly accolade is the second of Riner's career, while Smith garner the league's weekly distinction for the first time in his career.
