ATLANTA, Ga. – The University of North Georgia women's track & field team had a few runners compete in the Division I Georgia Tech Invitational Friday and Saturday this weekend. 

Juniors Anna Chasteen and Ella Stoudenmire competed in the meet along with senior Claire Mills.

In the women's 800-meter race, Stoudenmire, who broke the school record in the same event last week, ran a 2:13.10 to finish the race in 16th place. Mills ran a 2:21.02 to finish 56th overall in the same event.

In the women's 3000-meter steeplechase, Mills and Chasteen posted a pair of top-20 finishes. 

Mills ran an 11:22.74 time to finish in 15th place, while Chasteen followed just behind her with an 11:27.89 time in 16th place. 

The trio along with the rest of the Nighthawk team now look forward to the PBC Championship in Daytona Beach, Fla. The two day meet begins Monday, Apr. 29.
