Svetlana Teterina has been voted this week's Peach Belt Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week as announced by the league office on Monday.
Teterina won both in singles and doubles as #11 UNG opened the 2024 season with a 6-1 win over Carson-Newman on the road. The senior from Stockholm, Sweden, beat CN's Leah McBride, ranked #15 in the region, 6-1, 6-1. She then teamed with
Angelina Linnikova to beat the CN team of Speiser and McBride 6-3. Teterina and Linnikova are the #22-ranked doubles team in the nation.
