AUGUSTA, Ga. - The Peach Belt Conference has released the bracket and schedule for the 2023 tournament, presented by College Ave Student Loans. Play will begin on Friday, May 5, with the top eight teams in the league standings advancing to tournament play.

The PBC will play a new tournament format for 2023. The opening weekend of the event will be played at two sites and hosted by top-seeded Georgia Southwestern and second-seed Young Harris. The #1, #4, #5 and #8 seeds will play at GSW with the #2, #3, #6 and #7 seeds at YHC.

Each site will be a four-team double-elimination bracket with two games on Friday, three on Saturday and one or two on Sunday. The remaining teams from each site will then meet for a best-of-three championship series May 12-13. This format mirrors the NCAA regional format.

The seventh-seeded Nighthawks will begin play on Friday at Young Harris with first pitch scheduled for 2:00 p.m. in Young Harris.
