This Week in Nighthawk Athletics: November 20th

DAHLONEGA - The University of North Georgia will host one women's basketball game while men's basketball competes in three games on the road which includes a classic road trip to Florida. This season's weekly preview is presented by Northeast Georgia Health System, the official healthcare partner of UNG Nighthawk Athletics. Single game and season tickets are available for all home basketball, baseball and softball games. All home events will be broadcast live courtesy of the Nighthawk Sports Network.

#16 Men's Basketball (3-0)
The Nighthawks are off to a quick start, led by a tough defense, North Georgia has won their first three games of the season. Another three games awaits UNG this week as they take on Tusculum on the road on Tuesday (Nov. 21) before heading to the FSC Mocs Thanksgiving Classic.
At the Thanksgiving Classic, North Georgia will take on Saint Leo on Friday (Nov. 24) before facing host Florida Southern on Saturday (Nov. 25).
Women's Basketball (3-1)
The Nighthawks have won three straight with newcomers Ansley Hall and Emily Trushel helping kickstart the winning streak. Next on the docket is a home game against Lees-McRae on Tuesday (Nov. 21).
UNG will host Lees-McRae in the lone home action for North Georgia, tip-off is set for 6:00 p.m. at Lynn Cottrell Arena in the UNG Convocation Center.
