MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. - A big second half gave Georgia College the win over the University of North Georgia men's basketball team Thursday night as the Bobcats earned a 77-62 victory inside the Centennial Center.
The Bobcats led early, 13-7, before going on a 9-0 run to hold the first double digit advantage of the night. North Georgia clawed their way back into the game, trimming the lead to three by halftime.
In the second half, the Nighthawks got to within a basket of tying GC, but the home team went on a 10-0 run to cushion the lead on the way to a 40-28 second half.

Blake McIntyre led UNG with 14 points, while 
Zach Brown finished with 13. Three Nighthawks ended with nine points.
- Georgia College only turned the ball over six times. UNG had 13 turnovers.
- North Georgia finishes the season at 2-8.
