Rankings: North Georgia is No. 9 in the latest Collegiate Baseball Poll released Monday. Other teams in the Southeast Region that are ranked are No. 3 North Greenville, No. 4 Catawba, No. 19 Columbus State, No. 21 Mount Olive and No. 30 Lincoln Memorial. Wingate is receiving votes in the poll.

Last Week: North Georgia went 4-0 to start the eight game homestand, sweeping Augusta before beating Southern Wesleyan
Scouting Francis Marion: Francis Marion is 19-12 on the year and 10-8 in league play. The Patriots won the series against Georgia College, Flagler and Augusta so far this season. North Georgia is 14-19 against FMU all-time but have won seven of the last nine, including a sweep in Florence a year ago. The Patriots have had the most success in Dahlonega, taking eight of the 12 matchups at Bob Stein Stadium.
PBC Stats and Standings: Chase Sudduth has the sixth-best batting average in the league, hitting .376. Conner Corbitt is third in homers with eight on the year. Parker Morrison ranks second in the league in ERA at 1.82, tied for sixth in the conference in strikeouts with 52 and is second in the PBC in saves with six. Steven Bower is seventh in the league in ERA with a 2.66. The UNG pitching staff has the lowest ERA at 3.75 while giving up the least number of walks this season and the fewest runs. North Georgia currently has a game and a half lead on Columbus State for the top spot in the league standings. CSU has three games in hand, however.
