COLUMBUS, Ga. - Down by four with 3:55 left, the University of North Georgia men's basketball team could get no closer after Columbus State went on a 10-0 run on their way to a 86-76 win Wednesday night at the Frank G. Lumpkin Center.
The two teams went back-and-forth all night with UNG holding as much as a seven point lead in the first half, but the Cougars always found a way to claw back into the lead. UNG had cut the lead down to four points headed into the final media timeout, but the Cougar run was too much to come back from late.
