DAHLONEGA - Jack Howard had a career high 23 points coming off the bench, but the University of North Georgia men's basketball team fell at the hands of Young Harris, 110-92, Wednesday night.
The Nighthawks started out hot from behind the arc, jumping out to a 16-3 lead, but the Mountains Lions managed to cut what was at most an 18 point deficit and end the first half with a four point lead.
 
Coming out of the half, YHC did a better job of guarding the three-point line and held the Nighthawks to only four made threes in the second half. UNG hit 14-of-34 three-point attempts, six of which came from the sophomore Howard.

Shawn Hopkins also finished in double figures, scoring 15 points, while 
Zez Steeple added 14.

De'Undra Singleton each contributed 10 points.
- The Mountain Lions had better luck behind the charity stripe, shooting at a 76.7 percent clip (23-of-30) compared to the Nighthawks' 61.5 percent (16-of-26.
- There were seven total lead changes.
