CARROLLTON, Ga. - Bailey Minor finished with his first collegiate double-double as the University of North Georgia men's basketball team came from behind to beat West Georgia Saturday, 71-68.
The Wolves jumped out to a 10-point lead midway through the first half, but North Georgia answered, tying the game up at 22 before taking the lead with seven minutes to play until halftime.
The Nighthawks held on to the lead until the middle of the second half when UWG retook the lead at 52-50 and extended the lead to as many as six with just over five minutes to play at 63-57. From there, North Georgia finished on a 14-5 run, retaking the lead at the 1:13 mark on a Minor three pointer.
NOTES
- Minor finished with 21 points and 10 boards, shooting 8-of-14 from the floor, including 5-for-6 from behind the arc.

Zach Cottrell was the only other Nighthawk in double figures with 11, while nine other Nighthawks were in the scoring column.

Ephraim Tshimanga had an impressive stat line, scoring nine points to go with eight rebounds, six assists and six steals.
