DAHLONEGA | The University of North Georgia men's basketball team shattered the single game three-point percentage record as the Nighthawks conntected on 10-of-13 (77%) from long range en route to a 104-87 Peach Belt Conference win over Flagler on Thursday evening in UNG's Memorial Hall.
The Nighthawks connected on their first five shots of the game, including their first four from behind the 3-point line.
NOTES- The Nighthawks improve to 3-7 overall and 1-0 in Peach Belt play while Flagler falls to 4-5 overall and 0-1 in conference.
- Six Nighthawks finished in double figures, led by
Sean Brennan with 20 points.
Ebo Smith and
Juan Rivas tallied 16 points each, while
T.J. Williams put up 15 points and seven rebounds.
Tanner Plemmons and
Tyre' Gathright had 11 each.
- Matt Clark for the Saints had 20 points for the Saints on 7-of-14 shooting.
- Brennan made 14-of-16 to lead UNG from the free throw line. As a squad, North Georgia hit 30-of-35 (86%).
- North Georgia led by as many as 21 points and scored 41 points off the bench compared to just 19 from Flagler's reserves.
- The Nighthawks held a +16 margin on the glass, outrebounding Flagler 43-27.
- UNG moves to 15-1 in the all-time series with Flagler.

.769 (10-of-13) - The Nighthawks set a new record for three-point percentage with 76.9 percent shooting from behind the arc. The previous school record was 56% against Covenant in 2004.
