AUGUSTA, Ga. | Denzel Dillingham connected on 15-of-17 shots from the field and scored a game-high 40 points to lead Paine to a 93-75 win over the University of North Georgia men's basketball team, 93-75, on Saturday in Paine's HEAL Complex.
Dillingham hit 6-of-7 three-pointers and added a game-best seven rebounds.
Corey Green led North Georgia with 15 points on 5-of-9 shooting from the floor while
Tanner Plemmons and
Tyler Dominy added 12 points each.
Juan Rivas pitched in with 10 points for the Nighthawks.
NOTES- Paine used a 16-0 run to push the lead to a game-high 23 points at the 8:02 mark of the first half.
- The Nighthawks fall to 2-5 on the season with only a pair of non-conference contests remaining on the schedule before opening the Peach Belt Conference regular season against Flagler on Dc. 17.
- The win was Paine's first of the season as the Panthers (1-6) had dropped their previous first six contests.
- PC's Arnis Libarzs and Kaderious Compton recorded 14 and 12 respectively for the Lions.
- Paine scored the game's first seven points and would go on to lead wire-to-wire.

Sean Brennan matched his season-high in assists with six.
- Dillingham's near-perfect night included just a pair of misses on 21 total shots (17 from the field and four free throws).
- The Nighthawks were able to claw the lead down to 13 points on two occasions in the second half, with the later coming with just 1:49 remaining (84-71).
