The Latest on Reis
Carolina Reis comes back to UNG as a senior in the 2024-25 season after having the best doubles season in program history last year. On a Nighthawks team that went 22-5 in doubles play last season, Reis -- paired with teammate Valentina Ascarrunz -- destroyed the competition consistently in the #3 doubles spot. The pair went 23-3 over the course of the year which included and 18-match win streak at one point. Reis' season went down as undoubtedly the best doubles season in program history. Her 23 wins broke the record for the most doubles wins in a season in program history, while her .884 doubles winning percentage was far and away the best of any doubles season in UNG women's tennis history. Reis and Ascarrunz broke marks that had stood since 2017 in the UNG record book.
