DAHLONEGA -- The University of North Georgia (UNG) men's basketball program is set to host its annual Tip-Off Dinner Saturday, Nov. 1 at 6:30 p.m. inside Lynn Cottrell Arena at the UNG Convocation Center. 

The night begins with a cocktail hour starting at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m. and special programming shortly after. 

Fans in attendance will hear from this year's coaching staff and players during the night's programming as they learn more about the UNG men's basketball program, hear about the upcoming season and mingle with the families of players and coaches. 

"This event is an opportunity to continue to build a meaningful relationship with a fun, relaxed night," said Evans. "Our student-athletes and staff look forward to being around so many people who are invested in North Georgia Basketball. We hope to build upon the family atmosphere we have within the program and extend it to all our program supporters."

A highly anticipated season gets underway just two weeks after the Tip-Off Dinner as the Nighthawks will participate in the Southeast Region Crossover. UNG will open the season on Saturday, Nov. 14 at 5 p.m. against Lincoln Memorial as Young Harris will host the weekend event.
