North Georgia Women's Golf Reveals 2024 Fall Schedule

8/31/2024 11:00:00 AM

DAHLONEGA – The University of North Georgia women's golf team and head coach Sierra Campbell have announced the fall portion of the 2024-25 schedule.

After a second place finish in the Peach Belt Conference Championship last season, the first since 2021 for the Nighthawks, UNG returns six golfers from last year in search of its first PBC title in program history.

The fall season consists of four events for the Nighthawks in 2024, beginning on Monday, Sep. 16 in Cleveland, Tenn. for The City With Spirit Fall Classic hosted by Lee. Last year in the NCAA Division II South Regional Preview at Cleveland Country Club – the site of this year's fall classic – the Nighthawks took eighth place out of 17 teams as then freshman Abby Franks finished T13 at seven-over-par.

The second fall tournament for UNG is located in McCormick, S.C. for the Savannah Fall Lakes Invitational hosted by Lander.

As the calendar moves into October, the Nighthawks will host the 11th Annual LeeAnn Noble Memorial Tournament at Achasta Golf Club. The annual event hosted in loving memory of the late LeeAnn Noble, a former member of the UNG women's golf team that passed away in 2014, will begin on Monday, Oct. 7 in Dahlonega.

In the final competition of the fall, the Nighthawks head north to Farmington, Pa. for the Nemacolin Intercollegiate hosted by Findlay at the Nemacolin Resort. Last year, UNG came in sixth at the Nemacolin Intercollegiate which was held at Mystic Rock Golf club.

Another exciting season of North Georgia women's golf is just around the corner.
