CLEVELAND, Tenn. – Ella Stoudenmire and
Emily McBride highlighted the University of North Georgia women's rack team's appearance at the Lee Invitational. McBride and Stoudenmire both won a race in the third event of the season for UNG and the first of two straight events hosted be Lee.
Stoudenmire won the 800m run, finishing with a time of 2:18 as
Emery Ryan and
Lindsay Allan trailed a few spots behind, with Ryan finishing fifth with a time of 2:28 and Allan finishing in seventh with a time of 2:30. McBride's victory came in the 3000m steeplechase with the winning time of 11:10, while
Claire Mills (11:40) finished third,
Val Angel (11:59) in fifth and
Anna Chasteen (12:10) right behind Angel in sixth.

The Nighthawks will return to Cleveland, Tenn. on Apr. 6 to run in the Flames Invitational as the Nighthawks move into the tail end of their 2023 season.
