AMERICUS, Ga. – For the fifth consecutive match, the No. 18 University of North Georgia men's tennis team shut out the opposition, blanking Georgia Southwestern on Friday afternoon in the team's Peach Belt Conference opener.
After taking all three doubles matches, North Georgia completed its fifth shut out of the season by winning all six singles matches in straight sets.
North Georgia moves to 5-0 overall on the season and 1-0 in PBC play while GSW falls to an even 3-3, 0-1.
