Emily Beusse is entering her first year as the graduate assistant coach for head coach Tom Williams and the University of North Georgia women's cross country program after completing a stellar running career as a Nighthawk.
In January of 2016, Beusse was selected as one of more than 200 interns and gradate assistants to attend the 2016 NCAA Emerging Leaders Seminar in Indianapolis.
As a student-athlete, Beusse captained the 2014 team to the school's first ever NCAA Division II National Championship appearance after a runner-up finish at both the Peach Belt Conference and Southeast Region meets.
The Dawsonville, Ga. native was a 2014 U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (UTFCCCA) All-Region honoree. She also collected second team All-Conference honors at the 2013 Peach Belt Conference meet.
Beusse is a two-time PBC Presidential Honor Roll selection.
